How do I Feel About Miswak

brushing teethAll my life, I have been told that if I brush my teeth and floss regularly, then I won’t get cavities. Guess what? I brush and flossed regularly and I still got cavities.

Everybody I know who brushes their teeth and flosses regularly gets a lot of cavities. My sister gets an average of 10 to 15 cavities every year. She brushes and flosses her teeth twice a day. Obviously, this is a failed system.  There has to be something more effective.

My mother believes that genetics has everything to do with it. She believes since her mom had lousy teeth, she is also destined to have lousy teeth and there is nothing that she can do about it. She has spent more than $40,000 on her teeth, and the truth is, she doesn’t have a lot of them left to care for.  It starts out as a cavity being filled, then it becomes a root canal and crown.  Eventually what is left ground down and rebuilt artificially.  The process is incredibly expensive and never works better than having naturally healthy teeth.

Brushing and flossing is not going to take care of the problem. It never has, and it never will. Dentists don’t really get much education on how to prevent cavities and gum disease. If you ask them, they’ll tell you to brush and floss, and visit your dentist regularly. Of course, if you follow all these, dentists can pretty much guarantee they are going to always have work. If dentists really tried to help people prevent cavities, they could do it, but half of them would be out of the job.

miswakThe secret to having great looking teeth is to use Miswak. I grew up in Africa and we had a maid that would help clean our house and sometimes cook our meals. I remember as a child watching her take a stick off of a tree and chew on it. At the time, I thought, “Wow! that is certainly weird”. Maybe she couldn’t afford to buy a tooth brush, so she was using a stick to brush her teeth. Little did I know that she had better education on dental hygiene than me. She had white teeth and my teeth were yellow. I don’t think my maid had ever used a toothbrush. I don’t think she would want to waste her money on one either.

Using a stick brush or a twig brush called a Miswak is a much more effective way to take care of your dental hygiene. Just a few months ago, I started using Miswak. At the time, I had two places in my mouth where I was sure I had cavities and my teeth hurt. Every time I eat sugar or sweets, they would flare up.

I was trying to save up some money so I could afford to go to the dentist.  Then, I came across this memory of our maid when I was growing up. She never had a complaint about a cavity. Her teeth were white and beautiful. I decided that I would try one more thing before I went to the dentist. I decided to try using a Miswak stick.

Miswak chewing sticks contain antibacterial properties in the bark and innards that help to kill bacteria that cause cavities. It also works effectively to strengthen your enamel naturally and whiten your teeth. It has been two months now since I started using Miswak and I am amazed at the stark contrast. My teeth became healthy. They never hurt. I think my cavities are completely gone. I can’t see them when I look into my mouth anymore. In addition, I now have white teeth that are perfectly healthy. Using Miswak has far exceeded my expectations. And I am very excited about sharing this discovery with others.

Using Miswak is the best way to keep your mouth clean. Muslims believe that using Miswak can also increase your memory and make you more intelligent. But the real reason why so many people are using Miswak today is because it works as a complete dental program.

    Hey

I have just started using Miswak as well because Ramadan started and I thought I would try & start brushing with Miswak because it was a practice of Prophet Muhammed. I have to say my teeth so clean. How often would you recommend using the brush before cutting of the tip and starting with a fresh half inch of bristles? I think you should sell these awesome sticks on your site and maybe if you could source some cases to store the Miswak in between uses would be cool too.
